Southern California's Independent School District Will Find Money for Your School

Find a Grant

Many educators are focusing on grant funding as a means for teachers to supplement budgets and to purchase "wish list" equipment and supplies for their classrooms and students.

Many national foundations and organizations offer grants and awards to teachers at all grade levels. Also, many local businesses and industries are eager to partner with schools. They offer money, expertise, and products to teachers in their districts in a variety of programs.

Finding a grant that meets your needs and for which you qualify takes time and research. SCISD Provides a full-time staff of grant offices dedicated to finding money to support our members qualifying projects. They can help you find grants for your science lab, computer lab or classroom projects.

Local and national community organizations like PTA groups, the Rotary Club, the Kiwanis Club, the Lions Club, and the Junior League often help fund small and medium sized projects for schools in their areas.   Let us know if you are interested in pursuing grants.
